Nashville Writers’ House is a growing community of writers where all are welcome — grounded in in-clusivity, not ex-clusivity.
Based on the Kennedy Center’s Critique Model, Cherie Bennett, a successful working writer and trained writer’s mentor, leads workshops where critique is specific but challenging. Cherie’s comments, suggestions, and insight, however, aim to support and encourage writers on their journey.
As a community of writers, we seek to inspire each other, and so in turn become inspired ourselves. Each writer’s solo writing is synergistically enhanced by being part of our community. Together we are more than the sum of our parts.
We give each other deadlines, hold each other to the highest standards, and compete not with each other but only with ourselves… to be the best writers we can be.
