This FREE WORKSHOP offers a broad introduction to our interactive dynamics and methodology, including READ ALOUD (A critique format based on the Kennedy Center’s model of specific and supportive feedback.), FLASH WRITING (craft), RAVE WRITING (emotional content), BIZ BASICS (essential) such as an introduction to synopses, proposals, and more. Many handouts.
The atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming to all. Come get to know us and let us get to know you, participate and get inspired. See why NWH, open less than a year, has already been the catalyst to catapult the quality of work of many. It is our goal.
Genres Covered in Workshop: fiction of all lengths, screenplays, TV, memoir, comedy, performance art. We cover poetry only if it’s being used as a form for a larger work (novel, memoir, short story told in poetic form).
Please check out the TESTIMONIALS (coming) for personal feedback from workshop participants.
The FREE WORKSHOP stands alone. There is no obligation to continue. We hope it’s a great experience and we welcome your feedback. If you decide you’d like to continue with us…
